Anzor’s Sustainability Initiatives

We’re a 100% Kiwi owned company that’s trying our best to create a sustainable future for generations to come.

Our initiatives include:
Solar panels at our NZ Distribution Centre as well as reclamation of rainwater and stored in water tanks

Our next two buildings will include such initiatives as well.

We’ve reduced our use of plastic packaging by providing paper-based options and reusable bins for our customers. We also use internal filler packing from recycled material.

Anzor has strict waste management protocols in place at all NZ branches. Not only are waste paper and plastic collected for recycling, used wooden pallets are also given new life and recycled as bark for landscaping and playgrounds.

Future initiatives: All packaging to be biodegradable or recyclable by 2025

We are transitioning to hybrid vehicles to achieve a lower emission vehicle fleet.

We also use electric forklifts and stock pickers in our branches. Staff breathe easier as there are no exhaust fumes hanging in the air.

In addition, we will have EV charging stations at our two new buildings currently being built.

Anzor Kanban is a simple and effective just-in-time stock supply system for production environments.

Kanban bins onsite reduces packaging waste while ensuring that customers have a stock holding of the components they need.

Stainless steel is 100% recyclable and includes on average, 60% recycled content.

With proper maintenance, stainless steel’s naturally occurring protective layer eliminates the need for a paint or oil coating to inhibit rust.

Stainless steel has an indefinite lifespan and we have you covered with NZ’s largest range of stainless steel fasteners and fittings.
