We’ve reduced our use of plastic packaging by providing paper-based options and reusable bins for our customers. We also use internal filler packing from recycled material.

Anzor has strict waste management protocols in place at all NZ branches. Not only are waste paper and plastic collected for recycling, used wooden pallets are also given new life and recycled as bark for landscaping and playgrounds.

Future initiatives: All packaging to be biodegradable or recyclable by 2025

We are transitioning to hybrid vehicles to achieve a lower emission vehicle fleet.

We also use electric forklifts and stock pickers in our branches. Staff breathe easier as there are no exhaust fumes hanging in the air.

In addition, we will have EV charging stations at our two new buildings currently being built.
