Class 4 Galvanised

All of our Timber Constructions Screws come with a European Technical Assessment (ETA) that meets the NZ Building Code, see European Technical Assessment.

Our Timber Construction Screws can be used in a wide range of building projects and come in both 304 Stainless Steel and Class 4 Galvanised Steel. They come in two head types - countersunk and washer head - and have a star drive (6 Lobe) to provide a fast and easy installation.

The advantages of these screws are:

  • They come with a coarse thread for heavy construction applications.
  • Suitable for both Hard and Soft wood.
  • The washer head provides improved loading and reduces pull through.
  • The CSK head provides for a flush finish.
  • Star Drive for higher torque transfer and reduces possibility of cam-out during installation.
  • Based on corrosion testing by the Research Institutes of Sweden AB (RISE), the Nano Galv Timber Construction Screws have a 15 year technical lifetime in environmental conditions and corrosivity class C4 according to SO 9223 and SS-EN ISO 12944-2.
