Connection Process

The press fit system relies on mechanically joining pipes and fittings using a sealing O-ring and pressing tool.

  • The O-ring is positioned in the U-groove at the end of the fitting.
  • The pipe is then inserted into the fitting up to its insertion depth limit.
  • A pressing tool is used to create a mechanical deformation at the fitting, securing the connection and compressing the O-ring to form a leak-proof seal.
  • The resulting polygonal pressing profile varies depending on the diameter and may appear hexagonal or triangular-like.
Applications and Approval

Operating Temperature Ranges (by O-ring type):

• EPDM O-ring (Black): –20°C to +120°C

Application: Potable Water, Cooling Systems, etc.

• FPM O-ring (Green): –20°C to +200°C

Application: High Temperature System, Solar, etc.

• HNBR O-ring (Yellow): –20°C to +100°C

Application: Oil, Gas, Lubricant, etc.
